About Ruthie

I know what it’s like to love your animal so much it aches… and to feel that desperate, heavy worry when you just don’t know how to help them. When you’ve looked at them and said, ‘Why are you doing that?!’ and all you get back is resounding silence… or more confusing behavior. Yeah, I’ve been there too.

My journey to animal communication didn’t happen overnight. I do know that that first step was taken 19 years ago when I mysteriously left my managerial position at a day spa to become a dog bather at Pet Smart. What?! Then, when I became a letter carrier for the USPS, I was prepared and thankful to have learned about all the dog breeds and their unique behaviors. I was never scared of any dog because I understood them and LOVED them. The ability to interact with so many dogs and cats while working is still my favorite part of the job.

Five years ago, when we got our 3rd dog, Pickles, we immediately fell in love, but it was clear something was going on in her little mind we couldn’t figure out. She acclimated well to the household, loved playing and napping with us and our other dogs during the day, but at night she turned into Mr. Hyde. She would lash out at everyone but me, so we thought she was just being overprotective of me.

Around this same time, our other dog Foofa (my soul pet), was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. We had her on meds to help, but my husband and I both knew it was only a band-aid. However, one day I listened to an interview with Danielle MacKinnon about animal communication that changed my life. I toyed with the idea of learning it so I could speak with Pickles AND Foofa about the behavioral and physical issues they were having, but just one month later Foofa passed. In my deep grief, my heart just knew she was the one that led me to that interview in the first place. As painful as losing her was, I also knew it was her death that was the catalyst for me to sign up for the first class so I could not only help Pickles but also help all of the other animal lovers out there, like you, that struggle with understanding their own pet’s confusing behavior.

Not only do I want to help you with your pet’s behavior, but someday soon I hope to open my HeartSpace further by also offering energy healing. If Foofa taught me anything it was that the heart is strong, yet fragile. Near the end of her life, her heart was working so I hard I could literally hear it pounding from two feet away. To me, it was a clear call to listen to the heart. On my homepage, you’ll find at the very bottom a picture holding a rock with a heart on it. It is one of MANY pink hearts she has sent me this past year.

Pickles, Muno, and I

Through the process of learning Animal Communication, I discovered that Pickles didn’t feel safe at night. The dark night was too big for our little 4 pound chihuahua. After providing her with her own safe space in bed, she has calmed down significantly. Yet, it’s been my own transformation that has astounded me the most. I found my voice and my heart. They were always there, but I never took the time to listen. In this process of listening, I gained a remarkable gift that I can’t wait to share with you!

I understand the worry you’re going through right now, but Pickles would like you to know how much happier she is since I made the effort to seek out the answers to her nighttime behavior. With just one question from you to your pet, I can offer you both an harmonious heart and a chance to grow and evolve together.

To me, our pets aren’t just our little animal roommates anymore. They are conscious beings providing unconditional love and a gentle nudge. They don’t act out to make your life difficult. They’re just trying to communicate their needs, but also help YOU live your best life too.
